Problem

Patexia seeks prior art for US Patent 8,437,797 (US ‘797) which allegedly describes a method/system of distributing photographic images between two mobile devices, with a focus on claims 1 through 8. In such a system, an image capturing mobile device has a processor, a wireless transmitter, and a wireless receiver, and is paired with a receiving mobile device.

This image capturing mobile device:

  • has its processor that receives the photographic images
  • wirelessly receives transfer criteria from another receiving mobile device
  • filters the photographic images based on the transfer criteria
  • wirelessly transmits the filtered photographic images to the receiving device

As claimed by the patent, the transfer criteria of the image capturing device includes:

  • the geographic location of the image capturing mobile device
  • the subject identification of the filtered photographic images
  • the geographic location of the filtered photographic images
