Tong Zhang > Biography

Tong Zhang (M'02-SM'08) received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from the Xian Jiaotong University, Xian, China, in 1995 and 1998, respectively. He received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, in 2002. Currently he is a Professor in electrical, computer and systems engineering department at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY. His current research interests include circuits and systems for memory and data storage, computing, and signal processing. He has served as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems - II, and the IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing.
