Patexia is seeking a technical expert with at least 10 years of experience in product development, engineering, or technology consulting in at least one of the relevant domains listed below. Some experience with technology for financial services is preferred.

Qualifications

Candidates should have technology domain expertise in at least one, but preferably several, of the following areas:

Wireless devices/sensors/networks
Communication methods
Internet and software technologies
Big data analytics
Security and authentication
Consumer electronics
Social networking
Financial products and technologies

Ideal candidates will also:

Be a named inventor on US patents or applications in their technology domain
Have strong technical writing skills
Have a masters or PhD in a relevant technical field

Primary Work Activities:

Generating inventive solution ideas that address needs and opportunity in business, product, and technology areas defined by client
Developing, with additional research and proposed technical implementations, solution ideas that are provided by the client
Developing technical descriptions of proposed solution ideas for review by client for patenting and/or prototyping opportunities

Work Environment:

Majority of work conducted individually
No requirements for onsite work at client location

Level and Duration of of Engagement:

Up to several months of continuous engagement
15-20 hours per week
