CompetedOpen Hole Packers
$500/p
This contest is closed.
Problem
Patexia is looking for educated and evidence-based market research submissions about the historical facts surrounding open-hole, multi-zone, high-pressure fracing completion technologies. Specifically seeking respondents with hands on experience with open hole packer technologies in the 1990s.
The first twenty (20) qualified respondents will receive a minimum of $500 each as compensation for their informed contribution, awarded as a minimum value of $100 for each answer to one of the five substantive questions (i.e. questions 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9). To receive the maximum reward of $200 or more, respondents must answer all of the substantive questions.
Select qualified recipients in this contest will be invited into a follow up paid survey by the contest sponsor with additional questions and compensation valued at $10,000 total, as well as an opportunity to be engaged on an hourly basis through our Connect platform.
Qualified respondents will be determined by:
- their verified industry experience and background in the oil exploration industry as shown in their submitted resume
- their answers to questions 2, 3, and 4
- no potential conflicts of interest with the contest sponsor, including current or past employment with Schlumberger since 2005, or current employment with Packers Plus
This contest is part of Patexia’s “Real Time Feedback” initiative. Respondents will receive a response from Patexia’s Case Research Team about whether they were determined as qualified or not within 2 business days of their submission.
The questions include the following additional notes:
- Question 6 - Each frac sleeve is set for a particular diameter ball. The ball does not pass to the next sleeve but seals the sleeve from the rest of the down-hole formations.
- Question 7 - One ball actuates multiple frac sleeves known as a cluster by passing through the up-hole cluster sleeves and seating in the final cluster sleeve to seal off the down-hole sleeves from further stimulation.
- Question 8 - One ball actuates multiple frac sleeves in a cluster where each sleeve’s opening is delayed to a time after the ball passes the sleeve.
