Problem
The sharing economy has become a buzz word reshaping industries across the globe. Companies like Uber and Air BnB have changed the way we travel locally and internationally. But these changes have also brought questions about labor protections and new regulation from local and national governments designed to contain the rapidly changing business environment.
Despite some pushback the sharing economy has continued to expand and revolutionize the way we do business.
Please provide a response to the following prompt:
What are some innovative applications or currently untapped industries that could benefit from the sharing economy? Please explain how the sharing economy would have an impact and what benefits it would bring.
