MIT 3D goes glasses-free

The race is on, as it were, for the first to implement effective glasses-free 3D technology. Many of these technologies are currently too expensive, or provide a less-than-ideal viewing experience for users not looking at the device from a particular distance and angle. MIT's media lab is tackling the problem, hoping to provide a much more realistic experience -- one where the user's position in space will change their perspective of the images displayed on-screen.
