this site does not seem to be up to date. i have a patent filed as a patent pending in mid October of last year and a patent number form the US patent office and it doesn't pull it up or another one. How helpful is it, if it doesn't log all the filed patents?

James McArdleThere are a number of reasons your application might not be on the site. The main one is that your patent might not be published anywhere yet. As a reference, it usually takes about 18 months from the filing date for the application to be published.
