Samsung Agrees To Pay Apple $548M To Settle 5-Year Patent Battle

In a filing yesterday Samsung has agreed to pay up following losses in a recent series of appeals. However, even this does not conclusively bring an end to the case originally heard by a jury in 2011. Samsung has reserved the right to continue various appeals and to request some or all of the money back, depending on future rulings.
