USPTO Tightening Supervision on Stay-at-Home Examiners

The USPTO is tightening its supervision of patent examiners who work part- or full-time from home. The 5,000 or so examiners who work from home full-time must now be available electronically when they are on duty. In total the USPTO employs about 8,000 examiners.
