VIDEO - quadrotors perform James Bond theme

Ever since a swarm of quadrotor drones performed a dazzling light show at the Cannes film festival, it seems these robots are inching their way into performance. In this video, Vijay Kumar and collaborators at the University of Pennsylvania put together a rendition of the canonical spy movie theme song -- all parts performed by drones. Though the music produced by these drones leaves something to be desired, the performance (at a recent TED conference) is a more-than-impressive display of aerial drone prowess.
