Dec 30, 2024 11 TEXT ORDER The Court is in receipt of individual Defendant Omry Gottlib's document entitled, "response," (ECF No. 10), which he appears to have submitted on behalf of himself and corporate Defendant Exquisite Depot LLC. However, Mr. Gottlib, a non-attorney, does not, and cannot, represent Exquisite Depot, a limited liability company. Further, a corporation cannot represent itself pro se, but rather "'may appear in federal courts only through licensed counsel.'" Sabinsa Corp. v. Olive Lifesciences Pvt. Ltd., 2017 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 221107, at *11 n.4 (D.N.J. Mar. 28, 2017) (internal citation omitted). If Plaintiff files proof of service of the summons and complaint, then counsel for defendants must timely enter an appearance on their behalf. Otherwise, Defendant Gottlib shall be deemed to be representing himself pro se and corporate defendant Exquisite Depot LLC will be deemed to be unrepresented by counsel.
