No. [19]) This Court granted the extension and set a new deadline of June 29, 2022 for the dismissal to convert to a dismissal with prejudice. (Dckt. No. [20]) On June 29, the parties filed a second motion for a second extension. (Dckt. No. [21]) The parties explained that they are "in the process of memorializing the terms of a written settlement agreement." That statement leads this Court to wonder what the parties have been doing for the past five months. The parties add that a parent corporation is located in Germany. Maybe so, but it is not difficult to communicate with companies overseas. It took the Mayflower 66 days to cross the Atlantic. So, finalizing a settlement with a company in Germany in five months shouldn't be a herculean task. The motion for a second extension (Dckt. No. [21]) is hereby granted. As proposed, the dismissal will automatically convert to a dismissal with prejudice on July 29, 2022. That extension will give the parties nearly six months to finalize their settlement.
