Biography Information

Amin is a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) with a doctoral degree in behavioral psychology from Western Michigan University. Amin obtained his bachelors degree in psychology from UCLA and his masters in applied behavior analysis (ABA) from California State University, Los Angeles. Amin’s research interests are in behavioral and pharmacological treatments of autism spectrum disorders (ASD), the role of motivation in learning, and the experimental analysis of behavior. Amin currently serves as an adjunct faculty at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. In addition, Amin is currently a private behavior consultant where he and his team of behavior analysts collaborate with psychiatrists, teachers, and special education specialists in designing, modifying, and implementing treatments for individuals with developmental disabilities. Amin also serves as a scriptwriter for Autism Training Solutions (ATS) L.L.C., an online education company dedicated to training professionals and paraprofessionals in the field of behavior analysis.
