Biography Information
Dr. Zal Phiroz is an expert on global supply chain management, and a professor specializing in supply chain analytics, operations management and data analytics.
Following several years in senior management at Procter & Gamble, Dr. Phiroz embarked on a career in academia, specializing in supply chain management, operations and data analytics. Outside of teaching, Dr. Phiroz is a founding partner at Pier Consulting Group, at which he consults on projects with various Fortune 500 firms, as well as litigation involving supply chain areas.
Academically, Dr. Phiroz holds a CIPM and CISCM designation in Procurement and Supply Chain Management. He holds a PhD (Hierarchical decision making patterns for the placement of physical supply chain entities), MBA in International Finance, and is a dual degree graduate of the University of Windsor (BS Honors [Computer Information Systems], BCS [Computer Science]).
