Biography
Steven Ramirez is the Chief Information Security & Technology Officer (CISTO) for Renown Health. Renown Health is based in Reno NV and is a 4-hospital health system (area trauma center) with a health plan (Hometown Health). Prior to Renown, steven worked in IT leadership roles at UofL Health, IBM and Catholic Health Initiatives (now CommonSpirit Health). Steven holds two master’s degrees, his Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) and Master of Science (MSc) in Safety, Security and Emergency Management. Steven is a Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM). Steven is also a board member of AEHIS and the chair of the H-ISAC Information Protection Workgroup.
