Abhilasha BoraBack in February MPEG-LA was determined to attack Google's VP8 without any clue who's patent(s) were being infringed by it; and now, it has found claimants to it after a lot of hunting. Why wouldn't these so called patent owners claim infringement earlier? Did they require the MPEG-LA licensing group to remind them that they own those technologies?
