Biography | Seth Perry is biomedical scientist, researcher, and educator. Holding a PhD in Neuroscience and a faculty appointment in Biomedical Engineering, Dr. Perry is a multidisciplinarian at heart, with published and funded research spanning several disciplines including nervous system disorders, cancer biology, and biomedical optics, all joined by the common thread of improving understanding and treatment of human disease. With his R&D approach, he has many years experience improving and inventing tools and approaches for biomedical research, with particular emphasis on the areas of cell and tissue engineering, and biomedical instrumentation and microscopy. In addition to providing him with ample opportunity to think and write about science, this broadly-based work together with his role as a science advisor for a law firm, has also provided him with experience in all phases of technology transfer and IP related activities. | |
