Biography
William R. Eisenstadt, PhD is an Electronics expert and professor and University of Florida whose commercialization efforts are focused on the development of wireless sensor platforms for human health and safety applications. Dr. Eisenstadt has over 35 years of experience in analog, digital and microwave circuit design and in building product prototypes for commercialization. Eisenstadt has published over 160 refereed conference and journal publications, is the inventor of 16 patents and has advised 24 PhD graduates. Two of his technologies are licensed for commercialization by companies through the University of Florida. In, addition, Dr. Eisenstadt also has fifteen years of experience as an expert witness in electronics systems patent litigation. Dr. Eisenstadt combines electronic design, packaging, and embedded software design for wireless sensor systems in collaboration with leading researchers in entomology (mosquitos, flies, etc.), power systems, and biomedicine. Dr. Eisenstadt currently designs and prototypes microclimate weather stations and wireless temperature sensors for blood monitoring.
