Bob Goodlatte's Innovation Act of 2013 set to Change Patent Litigation

In a series of proposed changes, Goodlatte's bill sponsored by a bipartisan coalition aims to "fix the problem of patent trolls". Heightened pleading, fee shifting, increased transparency, requiring plaintiffs to stay customer suits if in litigation against the manufacturer and discovery reform are among the changes proposed by Congressman Goodlatte.
