Questions

#QuestionValue
Is the reference either a US patent filed, a foreign patent published, or a non-patent document published before August 26th, 2010 or an application, program, or other system or product in use or on sale in the U.S. before August 26th, 2010? T/F
Does the reference describe, have, or implement a device with a processor, memory, and display, storing at least three applications, with functionality to display a group of application window representations (e.g. thumbnails and/or icons representing application windows, displayed in a menu), the group including window representations corresponding to at least three applications, and based on a user input, display a first window corresponding to one of the applications from the group, the first window displayed adjacent to and not overlapping the group, and thereafter the group does not include a window representation associated with the application of the first window? (see, e.g., FIG. 6e) 20
Does the reference describe, have, or implement functionality such that a user can simultaneously change the size of the first window and the size of the group? 15
Does the reference describe, have, or implement functionality to display a second window associated with an application from the group, the display of the second window being configured such that the second window shares a border with the first window, and that allows a user to change the relative size of the first window and second window simultaneously, while maintaining the shared border of the first and second window 10
Does the reference describe, have, or implement functionality such that the group of application window representations include window representations corresponding to all operating applications except for any applications for which the display is currently displaying open windows? 10
Does the reference describe, have, or implement functionality to display a group of application window representations in a first location if a certain input is detected, but display the group of application window representations in a second location if a different certain input is detected? (see, e.g., FIGS. 6a-6e; e.g. parts 614-1b, 614-1c, and group of application controls 616-2e and 616-3e) 10
Does the reference describe, have, or implement functionality to display a transparent menu partially overlapping the first and second windows, in response to a drag operation on an element associated with the menu? (see, e.g., ’923 patent, col. 19, line 64 – col. 20, line 10) 10
Does the reference describe, have, or implement functionality such that one of the application window representations (e.g. thumbnails and/or icons displayed in a menu) in the group is at least partially overlaying another application representation in the group, and that a user can change the relative appearance of the application representations in the group such that more of the overlaid application can be seen and less of the overlapping application representation can be seen? (e.g. can the bottom application representation be dragged out from under the top application representation?) 10
Does the reference describe, have, or implement functionality such that each of the application window representations in the group have different z-order values and that the order of the application window representations of the group can be changed by user input? 5
Does the reference describe, have, or implement functionality such that the first window and the group of application window representations can be simultaneously moved with a single input? 5
Does the reference describe, have, or implement functionality wherein one of the first or second windows is a web browser capable of displaying multiple tabs, each of the tabs being displayed with a different z-order value? 5
