Role Overview

As our Operations & People Specialist, you’ll dedicate at least 50% of your time to Talent Acquisition — from drafting job postings to end-to-end candidate management. The rest of your responsibilities will focus on HR operations and occasional executive support. We’re looking for someone who can take initiative, stay organized, and proactively solve problems. Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition (50%+)

  • Full-Cycle Recruiting: Draft and update job descriptions, source candidates, conduct initial screenings, and coordinate interview processes.

  • Candidate Management: Communicate regularly with candidates, ensure timely follow-ups, and keep our careers page updated.

  • Strategy & Collaboration: Work with team leads to understand hiring needs, craft effective outreach strategies, and report on recruiting metrics.

HR & People Operations

  • Oversee and refine the onboarding process to ensure a seamless new-hire experience.

  • Maintain and manage HR software, keeping employee records accurate and updated.

  • Address basic HR-related inquiries and facilitate internal communication with the broader team.

Administrative Coordination

  • Organize digital filing systems and maintain compliance documentation.

  • Prepare and circulate internal announcements, newsletters, and policy updates.

  • Occasional Executive Support: Provide minimal scheduling or administrative assistance to the CEO as needed (approximately 10–15% of your time).

Process Improvement & Collaboration

  • Identify and propose ways to streamline HR and administrative processes to enhance overall efficiency.

  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Marketing, Operations) to ensure smooth cross-functional workflows.

  • Take ownership of special projects as the company grows.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition / Recruiting (preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment), combined with HR or operational responsibilities.

  • Upper-intermediate to advanced English proficiency for both written and verbal communication.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

  • Availability to work from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time (PST).

  • Familiarity with HR software and eagerness to adapt to new tools/technologies.

  • A proactive mindset, comfortable making decisions and driving process improvements independently.
