Andy BosyiHi Pedro. Thanks for the comment! Fortunately, US 7,843,225 cannot act as a known reference as it was first filed April 14th, 2009 which is after the date criteria of the contest (July 29th, 2002). Thanks for bringing this to our attention!

Figure 2 here is not in the Patent 7138860 B2. Why is that necessary to match this figure in order to get the 15pt? Would a description be sufficient?
Andy BosyiHi MChu. Figure 2 is a graphical representation explaining the connection between all the components as described in claims 1, 13, and 25 of US '860. While the figure might not be in the patent, the connections it describes is incorporated in the claim language. In none of our contests, do we require an exact graphical match to a figure. The figures are there to help explain the described criteria, and in this case, help explain how all the components are connected to each other. A text equivalent is perfectly acceptable from a reference. I hope that helps!
